Role Outline:
As a central technical authority, the Senior Sr. AWS Engineer oversees the design, creation, and management of solutions within the Amazon Web Services ecosystem. Boasting an expert grasp of AWS functionalities, this individual guarantees the company's cloud assets maintain integrity, perform efficiently, and satisfy corporate objectives.

Principal Duties:
- Cloud Infrastructure Oversight: Craft, administer, and upscale applications on AWS, prioritizing continuous operation and error resilience.
- Architectural Creation & Scripting: Forge the backbone of AWS infrastructure employing a service-focused approach. Craft automation scripts to smoothen the relationship between clients and servers, and enhance AWS operational procedures.
- Enforcement of Security & Compliance Measures: Establish and uphold AWS security policies and adherence to regulations, ensuring cloud infrastructure complies with corporate security benchmarks.
- Diagnostic and Helpdesk Operations: Offer in-depth AWS technical assistance, managing and remedying issues concerning AWS-deployed applications.
- Resource Management: Oversee AWS resource consumption, carrying out assessments and modifications to achieve cost-effective use.
- Team Partnership: Forge strong links with software development and IT operations divisions to construct and nurture Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines, contributing to the delivery of microservices and cloud-native applications.

Essential Skills:
Demonstrated AWS/Cloud environment development, deployment, and troubleshooting prowess.
Proficiency in developing software with AWS tools/services like Athena, EMR, Sagemaker, Redshift, S3, Lambda, and Glue.
Strong background in the Python programming language.
Holding AWS certifications will be considered an asset.
Familiarity with software such as Tableau, Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Lambda.
Clear comprehension of version control, unit tests, test-driven development, and integration/deployment automation.

Proficiency Level: Minimum of 8 years in related disciplines.
