Amundsen Davis LLC is Hiring a Litigation Paralegal Near Green, WI

Amundsen Davis, a full-service business law firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our team in managing a diverse caseload of litigation matters. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the litigation process and work closely with attorneys to provide exceptional legal support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, subpoenas, and correspondence.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with state and federal courts, including electronic filings, and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
  • Assist attorneys in managing all aspects of litigation cases from inception to resolution, including organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and maintaining the case calendar.
  • Coordinate the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, organizing documents, and preparing document productions.
  • Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to litigation and transactional matters
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and arbitrations by organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating with witnesses and experts.
  • Maintain electronic and physical case files, ensuring that all documents are properly organized, indexed, and easily accessible.

Required Competencies, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution preferred.
  • 5 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department, preferred
  • Experience with e-discovery and e-discovery platforms, preferred
  • Proficiency in legal research, writing, and drafting legal documents.
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
