PURPOSE:

To assist the Maintenance Staff in all areas related to the general up-keep and cleanliness of the community (interior and exterior).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, pest and rodents. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all duties assigned.
• Perform custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows in all common areas.
• Assist in picking up trash on the community grounds.
• Assist in removal of snow and any other grounds maintenance as assigned. Assist in the cleaning of all vacant apartments in preparation for leasing.
• Provide weekly inventory of all cleaning supplies and materials and provide a re-order list for approval.
