Amvare Inc. is an engineering recruiting company. We have an immediate need for “Mechanical Design Engineer” for a client of ours. There are 3 positions to fill. This is a Fulltime Permanent position located in Warrenville, IL. Competitive salary with excellent benefits will be provided.

Our client is an established group specializing in designing products for industrial, commercial, medicaland Government clients. Has been in business for over 20 years, located in the Western suburbs of Chicago. Their clients range from Fortune 500 industries to start-ups. The team includes talented industrial designers and mechanical engineers, electronics engineers, embedded software engineers.

Responsibilities

You are passionate about designing, building, prototyping, and continuously developing your mechanical aptitude.

You can quickly and confidently work in the shop with metal, plastic, clay, foam core, and wood to test and validate your ideas.

You are a fast learner, able to navigate and implement new technologies, take on any challenge and tackle all aspects of the design process.

You can clearly articulate the process, approach, and impact of your design in verbal and visual presentation. You can sketch in brainstorming sessions, write test plans and product specifications.

FEA simulation, 2D CAD drawings, engineering calculations, and tolerance stack-up analysis.

You have a good working knowledge of injection molding, thermoforming, casting, machining, stamping, sheet metal, blow molding, cast urethane, SLA, SLS, FDM, etc.

You’re good at picking the best material and process for the application.

You are able to work in a fast pace environment.

Qualifications

Min 3 to 7 years of Mechanical design experience.

3 Years of SolidWorks experience.

BSME or equivalent.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Compensation

$85K - $110K
