**Responsibilities and Duties**
* **Support Sales Results**
Provides exceptional sales solutions that support the small group sales strategy of RSM Team
Provides brokers with timely, solution?oriented responses to their new business needs
Assists RSM Team in evaluating target brokers & deploying a plan for successful engagement
Handles calls on pre?sale benefits questions for new business
Formulates and implements quoting strategy based on renewal
* **Product Portfolio Knowledge**
Maintains strong product knowledge of California Small Group Market
Maintains strong underwriting knowledge
Provides timely industry updates
* **New Business Sales**
Coordinate and collaborate on new business materials required for enrollments
Helps set up enrollment meetings
Collect new business materials
**Qualifications & Competencies**
* Comprehensive database, HealthConnect/ Benefix and Carrier guideline knowledge
* Current CA Accident and Health and Life Insurance License
* Strong communication skills
* Strong research and solutions-oriented mind-set
* Proficient in MS Office software, especially MS Outlook and Excel
**Experience & Education**
* Minimum 3 years of related experience; or equivalent of education and experience
* Inside sales or account management experience is preferred
* Fluent understanding of carrier products and benefits
* Clear understanding and experience of underwriting guidelines
**Physical Demands**
* Sit up to 8 hours a day, must be able to lift 5 lbs. occasionally
**Work Environment**
* Professional office environment
