Ana G. Mendez University is Hiring a Marketing & Promotion Manager Near Orlando, FL

We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as our Marketing & Promotion Manager. Responsibilities that consist of planning, developing, and effectively executing AGMU branding strategies, marketing plans, promotions, and campaigns. The position is responsible for identifying opportunities and initiating, developing, and leading marketing and integrated communications projects with university-wide impact.

 AGM University serves a diverse student population, offering bilingual education to the community for traditional and non-traditional students.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Responsible for developing promotions and marketing strategies using direct and digital marketing initiatives across the US market.
  2. Responsible for creating, implementing, and measuring comprehensive marketing and communications campaigns that drive enrollment and student learning and enhance AGMU's brand and position in the marketplace.
  3. Analyze and determine target audiences, identify appropriate tools and media/platforms, and analyze the effectiveness of each using data analytics and market research to implement effective strategies.
  4. Provide subject matter expertise on appropriate marketing mix and vehicles to achieve objectives while exploring new mediums.
  5. Supervise branding efforts, print and collateral materials, web, new media initiatives, and other marketing efforts for AGMU.
  6. Continuously monitors and measures marketing programs' effectiveness and results.
  7. Provide project management that keeps multiple projects and initiatives on budget and schedule, including detailed, complex, and strategic projects that positively contribute to the enrollment and branding objectives.
  8. Led, managed, and coordinated university branding efforts and coordinated with related partners.
  9. Lead the development of annual marketing plans in pursuit of their priorities and evaluate their effectiveness.
  10. Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics with senior management.
  11. Partner and interact with vendors to supply materials supporting marketing concepts.
  12. Conduct general market research to stay abreast of trends and competitor's marketing movements and identify new opportunities to grow the business.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or related field from accredited university.
  • Four (4) years of overseeing communications, branding, creative and digital services within an organization, university, or agency related work experience. 
  • Experience in developing brand strategy or campaign plans.
  • Experience of marketing to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of marketing and advertising principles, including measurement, analytics, and implementing strategic marketing plans.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize changing needs, and make appropriate decisions, while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze data, evaluate outcomes of marketing initiatives, and make related recommendations.
  • Proven track record of strategically deploying marketing and communication tools to disseminate messages across different platforms and to diverse audiences.
  • Successful track record in creating and executing marketing plans that drive sales, using various offline and online tactics. 
  • Expertise in translating the success of marketing efforts into quantifiable ROI measures.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically as well as tactically; ability to “think outside of the box." 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills in Spanish and English.
