Our client is seeking an exceptional live-in Building Manager/Superintendent to oversee the opening and operations of a 575 unit new development luxury rental building in Long Island City, Queens. The building will contain high-end amenities including an outdoor pool, fitness center, lounge, playroom and large roof deck amenity area.
In this role, you will be responsible for staffing the building with approximately 25 staff members, overseeing their training, preparing apartments in immaculate move-in ready condition, assisting in the startup and maintenance of all building mechanical systems and development of PM plans for each, devising interior and exterior maintenance and cleaning protocols and schedules, and more.
You will be the key point of contact for residents, building staff, vendors, and management. Your responsibilities will include detailed management of property operations, maintaining the highest standards of service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury property management, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional living experience.
Job Requirements

• Applicant must have at least eight (8) years' experience in building management, and at least five (5) years' experience opening and managing luxury residential properties for a real estate developer.
• Applicant must have extensive experience with apartment preparation and must possess excellent organizational and communication skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Primary responsibilities will include supervision of day-to-day maintenance operations, overseeing a high volume of apartment preparation, the supervision of approximately 25 staff members, training of new hires, maintaining resident relations, management of vendor relations, special projects, and other related duties as needed.
