- Job Title : Receiving Logistics Supervisor
- Location : Delano, CA
- Full-Time / Direct Hire position
- Responsible for all aspects of shipping / receiving, inventory management, dry goods / material management, and bin fleet management
- Supervise 8 or more Leads, Planners, and Logistics Specialists, with up to 70 hourly employees
- Ensure adherence to strategic FIFO and WMS inventory functionality
- Handle administrative responsibilities including inventory reporting, labor management, and budgets
- Perform daily / weekly / monthly data collection and analysis
- Develop capability of the hourly workforce and manage daily inventory systems
- Report daily inventories and FIFO position, exceptions, and outages
- Coordinate interdepartmentally for movement and storage of goods
- Develop, implement, and sustain standard work procedures
- Supervise and analyze employee performance; train and evaluate employees
- Coach, mentor, develop, and train hourly workforce
- Requires minimum 3 years' experience in distribution leadership; Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain & Logistics, or related field highly desired
- Must be detail oriented, organized, customer service focused, and results driven
- Requires knowledge of food safety standards, OSHA regulations, forklift certification, and training
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; advanced knowledge of computerized WMS (warehouse management systems) required
