Anastasia Beverly Hills is Hiring a Copywriter Near Los Angeles, CA

This position will write and produce content for Anastasia Beverly Hills’ brand touchpoints, including but not limited to .com, Education, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Graphic Design. This person will work within a fast-paced team, using evolving tools and collaborating with team members from multiple disciplines to solve problems and create the best possible conversational interface content for the brand, as necessary. We are looking for a resourceful and creative individual with experience in developing compelling content and creative strategies.

Essential Job Functions

  • Execute clean, detail-oriented, on-brief copy that captures the Anastasia Beverly Hills’ brand voice.
  • Implement brand voice seamlessly across all touchpoints (Retailer, Ecom, Education, etc)
  • Manage consistency in brand language across all channels
  • Partner with design team to ensure copy is correctly flowed into design and work on solutions to optimize.
  • Interpret creative direction from various teams and adapt points into practical copy concepts.
  • Responsible for proofing retailer content to ensure appropriate brand voice and grammar.
  • Responsible for brand voice, resulting in reworking of all Brand Books, Marketing Sheets, Unit Cartons, Gondolas, Inserts, and other collateral as needed.
  • Meet and take ownership of deadlines for key projects.
  • Attend product kick-offs and examine various types of project briefs, paying close attention to marketing objectives and copy requests.

Brand Marketing, Education & Events

  • Craft product and campaign taglines.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing and Education to craft PDP copy.
  • Partner on PPage assets to craft copy and proof.
  • Manage consistency in copy across .com and retailers.
  • Craft copy for branded events, educational materials, and experiences.
  • Craft long-form technical guides, scripts, and how-tos.
  • Proof all copy prior to final release (digital and printed).
  • Craft trend-driven copy that supports core and new launch products.

E-Commerce

  • Responsible for writing and developing high-quality customer-focused e-commerce content, including persuasive copy for product pages and landing pages.
  • Create all copy for digital advertising campaigns, including but not limited to .com homepage and ads, blogs, social media posts and email/SMS marketing campaigns.
  • Proofread all copy and ensure a consistent message across all channels and mediums.
  • Ensures the accuracy of the copy and product information on .com, tracks and accounts for errors, and updates copy as needed.
  • Work with E-Commerce team on all site briefs to understand needs and execute tasks in a timely manner to ensure on-time delivery of all site content.
  • Use brand voice and education materials to conceptualize and develop content to compel and convert .com customer.

Visual Merchandising

  • Craft copy for in-store displays and collateral
  • Manage consistency across global merchandising units
  • Proof for proper product names, grammar, shade orders and descriptions

Requirements

  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Liberal Arts or related field
  • 7 years in a copywriting role
  • Experience conducting research on article topics
  • Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to function within deadlines while working both independently and as part of a team
  • Past experience writing digital advertising campaigns is a must (Website, mobile, emails, social media, blogs, marketing materials, news releases, articles, brochures, product descriptions, text ads, banner ads, etc.)
  • Strong conceptual skills with knowledge of how copy relates to a customer's experience and digital designs is highly desirable
  • Ability to create ideas, present them to CEO, then modify and finalize with a quick turn-around time
  • Track record of always meeting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent project management skills with proven track record
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint essential
  • Knowledge of MAC applications preferred
  • Experience with Google Docs is a plus

Physical demands

  • Sitting, (typing, work on a computer and phone consistently during the day); Frequent Standing, and Walking, Occasional lifting (less than 25 lbs)

Anastasia Beverly Hills offers a competitive compensation package with full benefits and a 401(K) plan with matching contributions from the company. The starting base salary range for this position in the selected city is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 yearly. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographical location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role is bonus eligible.
