About The RoleAs Anatomage has successfully adapted to the pandemic, we have increasingly ramped up our services virtually to all of our clients by providing more resources. As an Application Specialist - Technical Support, you will primarily be working on troubleshooting for our Anatomage Table end-users. We are growing at a rapid pace and are seeking Application Specialists to help provide customer service technical support, and improve existing programs. This person will be an integral part of the team, working alongside a group of subject matter experts who have an impact on our educational resources that we provide.
The ideal candidate has experience in technical support or a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information System, or related fields. This person must have strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking and analyzing skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced department. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to delve into next-generation 3D anatomy visualization.
  • This is an on-site position and will require reporting to our headquarters location in Santa Clara, CA. This role is set at $25/hr.**
RequirementsWhat You’ll Do
  • Primary focus is handling customer technical support cases through phone and email submission and ensure they are resolved promptly and thoroughly
  • Diagnosing and resolving software and hardware support issues
  • Improving existing programs by evaluating objectives and specifications, reviewing proposed changes and making recommendations
  • Provide systems support for end client systems, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, resolving, and documenting
  • Maintain client confidence by keeping their information confidential
  • Record, track, document and close support and inquiry cases from Salesforce
  • Traveling onsite to customer locations to troubleshoot or fix equipment
  • Coordinating and managing technician visits as needed
  • Packaging and coordinating replacement parts shipments and installations
  • Other projects as necessary
Skills And Abilities Required
  • A clear, professional, and informative communication style with experience translating technical concepts into user-friendly documentation
  • Strong software and technology knowledge
  • Familiarity building and maintaining computer systems and peripherals
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and responsible
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision
  • This role may require travel both in and out of state.
Qualities We Look For
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles and operating systems, especially Windows
  • Experience in remote desktop applications and CRM platforms
  • As we look to expand to other platforms, familiarity with other operating systems like Android and iOS is preferred, but not required
  • Technical Certifications in OS and networking like Microsoft, VMWare, Cloud Technologies, Linux are a plus, but not required
  • Experience in the medical industry preferred, but not required
Minimum Education And Experience Preferred
  • Experience in customer service
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information System, or related fields preferred
  • 1-2 years of technical support experience preferred
