Job Title: Laboratory Medical Lab Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Medical Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex medical laboratory tests for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. They will play a crucial role in assisting medical professionals in providing accurate and timely results to aid in patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform complex laboratory tests on specimens such as blood, urine, and tissue samples
• Prepare samples for analysis, including labeling, centrifuging, and aliquoting
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
• Analyze test results and accurately report findings to healthcare providers
• Help manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Follow strict safety and quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results
• Maintain detailed records of all tests performed and results obtained
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care and treatment

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
• Certification as a Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, protocols, and safety standards
• Ability to analyze and interpret laboratory test results accurately
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and computer systems
• Prior experience working in a medical laboratory setting is a plus
