Job Description

Job Title: Med-Surg Ortho, Neurology Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nurse to join our Med-Surg unit specializing in Orthopedics and Neurology. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and neurological conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
• Monitoring vital signs and managing medications
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educating patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care techniques
• Assisting with rehabilitative therapies and ensuring patient safety
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med-Surg unit, preferably in Orthopedics and Neurology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
