Job Title: Registered Nurse - Infusion

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in infusion therapy to join our healthcare team. The Infusion Nurse will be responsible for administering treatments and medications through intravenous routes to patients in need of specialized care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare and administer intravenous medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate interventions as needed
• Educate patients and their families on proper medication administration and infusion therapy techniques
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Ensure proper disposal of contaminated materials and adherence to infection control protocols
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and advancements in infusion therapy

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid RN license and current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in infusion therapy or relevant clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of IV therapy standards and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed
• Proficiency in electronic health records and medical documentation
