Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse RN (Operating Room) in Chico, CA

Job Summary:

Our healthcare facility is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, as well as assisting surgeons and surgical teams during operations. The successful candidate should have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment, and demonstrate exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia
• Prepare operating room for surgery, including ensuring that all necessary equipment is sterilized and in working order
• Educate patients and families on procedures and appropriate aftercare
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and effective patient care experience
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a sterile operating room environment

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current unrestricted California RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room nursing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attentiveness
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety
