ANCHOR BEHAVIORAL SOLUTIONS LLC is Hiring a Director of Recruiting Near Orange, NJ

The Director of Recruiting is a dynamic leadership role that requires passion and expertise in attracting, developing, and retaining excellent individuals to serve our consumers and families. This individual oversees the development and execution of both long-range plan and short-term strategies to recruit and hire positions, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Behavior Technicians, ABA Therapists, Community Support Staff, and more. The Director of Recruiting role is for an innovative, results-driven individual who strongly believes in Anchor Behavioral Solutions’ (ABS) revolutionary approach to attracting applicable talent to individuals with a range of intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Optimizing Talent Acquisition

  • Lead ABS' Talent Acquisition recruitment process by enhancing the candidate experience across all positions and hiring stages.
  • Spearhead targeted recruitment for all positions through participation in recruiting events, job fairs, networking, external partnerships, and leveraging Anchor's current talent network.
  • Lead high-impact recruitment project, with a focus on strategic role fulfillment.
  • Forecast hiring needs based on organizational growth plans.

Talent Pipeline Development

  • Create, maintain and expand upon ABS’ current pipeline of talent, leveraging referrals as a primary and successful mechanism for attracting strong-fit, qualified candidates.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, agencies, and educational institutions to expand the network of potential candidates and enhance recruitment efforts
  • Collaborate with external partners to leverage resources and expertise in talent acquisition and recruitment.

Job Requisitions

  • Develop high-quality, attractive job requisitions that resonate with ABS’ organizational mission, ensuring alignment with the company’s commitment to excellence

Online Recruitment Platform Management

  • Implement, expand, develop and manage all online recruitment platforms, including UKG (ABS’ applicant tracking system) and external job boards, coordinating every aspect of the hiring process.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and oversee the implementation of recruitment technologies to enhance the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Facilitate the implementation of system enhancements, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery.

Process Improvement

  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in healthcare/I/DD industry.

Collaboration with Team Members

  • Consult with organization (hiring managers, departments heads) to understand the specifications requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
  • Consult with organization (hiring managers, departments heads) to innovate and implement new Talent Acquisition strategies and initiatives, fostering effective and equitable talent acquisition and candidate assessment strategies.
  • Proactively address escalations, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively to maintain trust and satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment/talent acquisition strategies.

Hiring Oversight

  • Manage all stages of the hiring process for all positions within the ABS organization, ensuring a seamless and efficient talent acquisition experience.
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience marked by transparency, prompt follow-up, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage all data/analysts related to recruitment processes, including the tracking of spending, and hiring and retention metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials; Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with clients or hiring managers; Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
  • Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in healthcare/I/DD industry.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Consistently provide guidance, mentorship and support to direct employees. This includes the Recruiter.
  • Ensures direct employees are using appropriate resources to recruit as efficiently and effectively as possible.
