Hours :

7 : 00 am - 3 : 00 pm

May vary based on necessity of driving

This position will include but is not limited to facilities and equipment maintenance which may involve ground keeping, woodworking, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, installation of equipment, and back up delivery driver as needed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Maintain and repair equipment and machinery used in warehouse.
• Perform inspections of building and equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Provide some groundskeeping services as needed.
• Record keeping of all work performed and cost to do so.
• Work directly with the Warehouse Manager to prioritize work.
• Take care of recycling, including requesting pick-ups.
• General Housekeeping.
• Working in conjunction with warehouse, office personnel, and safety committee to help ensure a safe work environment.
• Wearing, and using PPE as needed or required.

Knowledge, Skills, Education and Abilities :

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• The ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
• Effective time management skills.
• Work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to problem solve effectively.
• The ability to communicate and work effectively with the other departments including sales, purchasing, customer service, and accounting.

Physical Demands :

• Bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, crawling, pushing, pulling and climbing
• Standing for long periods.
• Working in high and low temperatures as work requires.
• Exposure to high noise levels.
• Working in cramped spaces.
• Responsibility for work outcomes and results, which includes the responsibility of the health and safety of others.
• Lifting of 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Minimum Requirements :

• Class B CDL driver's license with experience driving a 26 ft box truck.
• Currently have or capable of obtaining a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Have and maintain a clean driving record.
• 21 years of age
