Job Description
Anchor Talent has partnered with several DFW based Engineering firms to identify CAD Technicians. We have partnered with private companies focused on commercial and industrial infrastructure/development as well as local municipalities. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting design teams in creating detailed and accurate technical drawings and models. Primary responsibility will be to translate conceptual designs and ideas into details CAD drawings using various platforms for design.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Create and modify 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings based on conceptual designs, specifications, and sketches
Assist design teams to develop site plans and roadway plans and profiles
Verify accuracy and details of CAD drawings to reduce errors and misinterpretations
Resolve design-related challenges providing unique resolutions and ideas
Support Architects and Engineers on client projects and presentations
Interpret schematic architectural drawings (CAD and Revit)
Education And Knowledge
HS Diploma
1 years experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation
Experience supporting development projects: commercial, industrial, institutional sites
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines
Must pass motor vehicle and background check
Compensation
$55,000 - $75,000 Depending on experience/certifications
