Anchovy is an innovative new mobile app that promotes food-based social connectivity through an easy-to-use recipe saving and sharing platform. We are passionate about using tech to make cooking and meal prepping easier and more fun for home chefs. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our talented team.

Role Type: Full-time, on-site/hybrid in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of new app features and enhancements.
• Serve as subject matter expert for internal and external software engineers.
• Collaborate with the Anchovy team to define and design new features.
• Help maintain code quality and organization.
• Ensure application performance and scalability through code reviews and testing.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, C#, and SQL.
• Extensive experience with front-end and back-end development frameworks and tools (e.g., Angular, .NET, VS Code, Jetbrains Rider, Docker, and Azure Data Studio).
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Auth0, Azure DevOps, and Firebase).

Desired Skills

• Experience in front-end development, specifically with Ionic, Xcode, and Android Studio.
• Experience using IDesign, ngrx, and rxjs.
• Experience developing and deploying mobile applications.
