Summary
The Brand Manager plays a vital role in developing and executing successful events, social media, and traditional marketing campaigns to enhance the campus's visibility and student engagement. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and promoting a wide variety of campus events and promotions, from concept to completion. They'll work closely with campus directors to manage event budgets and track performance metrics to demonstrate ROI.
Responsibilities
Event Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for campus events, including student orientations, open houses, speaker series, and other special activities.
Secure venues, vendors, and necessary permits for events.
Create timelines, checklists, and budgets for each event.
Traditional Marketing:
Collaborate with the design team to develop engaging marketing materials such as flyers, posters, email campaigns, and social media graphics.
Distribute marketing materials through various channels (print, digital, campus displays).
Develop social media strategies and calendars
Approve, create and schedule social media content on a daily basis
Community management and maintenance of social media profiles and pages
Budget Management:
Work with campus directors to develop and adhere to event budgets.
Track expenses, negotiate with vendors, and process invoices.
Performance Analysis:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for events and promotions.
Analyze attendance data, engagement metrics, and feedback to measure campaign success.
Generate reports to present ROI and recommendations for future improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in event planning or marketing coordination.
1-2 years of experience in social media marketing/management
Strong project management and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in Google Workplace and familiarity with design software a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Passion for student engagement and creating dynamic campus experiences.
