Organization- Andaz Maui at WaileaSummaryThe Beverage Manager oversees our outdoor pool venues, as well as all aspects of food and beverage service on our pool decks. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, coaching and developing all bartenders and pool servers. Managing with passion, and personal style, the Beverage Manager is responsible to keep our premier mixology concepts on the map while observing and taking action based on relevant demand and market trends.
Andaz Maui is situated on Maui’s premier southwestern coastline, on 15 beachfront acres along Mokapu Beach in Wailea, one of the most sought after leisure and resort destinations in the world. The luxury resort community of Wailea includes a 1.2 mile-long oceanfront beach path connecting five crescent-shaped, golden-sand beaches, a premier shopping center and distinguished restaurants.
Duties:
  • Planning, managing and executing beverage operations i n all outdoor areas
  • Collaborating on m usic and entertainment programming
  • Develop and recommend activations, concept s and objectives.
  • Implement and maintain food & beverage sales and marketing programs
  • Direct and oversee development of associates and assistant managers
  • Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel of team and review performance.
  • Weekly processing of department schedule and payroll.
  • Ensure beverage department is achieving and/or exceeding financial performance & reports.
  • Perform monthly inventories of liquor , beer, wine, and supplies, implement and maintain controls for accurate inventory accountability.
  • Resolve customer opportunities as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
  • Implement procedures to increase guest and employee satisfaction to create an inclusive environment in which diversity is welcomed.
  • E nsure quality control for both food and beverage
  • Ensure that all safety and sanitation standards are adhered to at all times.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000. Decisions regarding individual salaries commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications Qualifications
  • Valid Maui County Liquor Certification card
  • Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment
  • Understanding of modern mixology techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people
  • 2 or more years of progressive F&B management experience
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Experience in implementing new food & beverage concepts
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends, and holidays
