Our Project Manager will manage our window and door replacement projects starting with the technical measures and job specifications. Through the installation process they will ensure homeowner delight, while focusing efforts to meet/exceed expectations.
All our Project Managers go through several months of paid training working with our Master Installers to learn about products and installation process. During that training period you will learn the Renewal by Andersen way. This will include taking measurements, placing orders, taking inventory of all materials needed for each project, troubleshooting and submission of completed files once the project is completed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Independently determines the job project from start to finish with no oversight
•Accurately measure the dimensions of an existing opening and determine the appropriate installation process
for windows and doors
•Responsible for conducting technical measurements and determining installation materials, duration, and
other requirements
•Recognize situations that could impact customer expectations, job costs, and/or code performance and
provide alternatives as needed.
•Evaluate the condition of existing structure, frames, sash, casing, and trim
•Determine the installation labor duration as well as installation materials needed to successfully complete
each project
•Responsible for maintaining communication with installers during installations to assist with trouble shooting
and to regularly visit and inspect installations in progress to ensure quality standards and exemplary customer
service is being provided
•Responsible for providing ongoing training and coaching for installers on technical capabilities and customer
service, as well as to review installation processes and best practices
•Responsible for maintaining regular communication with operations and sales team to answer concerns and
questions regarding the ordering, scheduling, and services of projects.
•Submitting and reviewing all window/door/material orders for each job that you are overseeing
•Submit all projects to Order fulfillment team for ordering in a timely manner (within 48-hour turnaround)
with use of tablet and computer.
•Provide final review of projects before order is submitted (within 72 hours of notification)
Your morning will begin at the Portland locationYou'll be assigned technical measure, service, and site visit appointments in various locations throughout our territory. On average, our team members cover approximately 15-20 visits per week.
As for compensation, this role has a base PLUS bonus structure. The base salary would be between $60k. The bonus is based off of several metrics including the accuracy of your measures for the job and customer experience. The target bonus would be about $4,000 - 6,000/year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•High School Diploma or equivalent required
•A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the window and door industry required
•A minimum of 2 years installing replacement windows and doors, carpentry finishing/and or remodeling experience required
•Complete extensive training on the installation of windows and doors in the field
•Valid NYS Driver's License with clean driving record
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
•Knowledge of applicable building codes and construction techniques diligence and attention to detail
•Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor, written and verbal communication, and critical thinking skills
•Availability to work when homeowners are available (Between hours of 7:00 am - 7:00 pm)
•Conflict management skills with ability to contribute to a positive team culture and create a culturally inclusive environment
•Ability to be empathetic and build trusting team member and customer relationships, actively listen and communicate effectively
•Ability to effectively problem solve in a fast-paced environment actively receive and seek feedback
•Spend 80% of your day standing or walking and lift up to 50 pounds (20% is desk or computer work)
