We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Home Services Dispatcher to join our team. The Home Services Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling service appointments for our technicians, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and schedule service appointments for home services technicians

- Dispatch technicians to job sites and provide them with necessary information and instructions

- Monitor technician progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely service

- Communicate with clients to confirm appointments, provide updates, and address any concerns

- Maintain accurate records of service appointments, technician assignments, and client interactions

- Use dispatching software and tools to manage scheduling and track technician locations

- Handle emergency service requests and prioritize accordingly

- Provide support to technicians by relaying messages, answering questions, and providing necessary resources

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

- Resolve client complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in using dispatching software, CRM systems, and other office tools

- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude

- Knowledge of home services (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in the home services industry

- Familiarity with geographic areas serviced

- Basic understanding of technical terms related to home services

Working Conditions:

- Work is typically performed in an office environment

- May require occasional evening or weekend work to handle emergency requests or high demand

- Constant use of a computer and phone system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 45 per week
