This acquisition provides Gray new capabilities for stainless-steel manufacturing of key critical equipment for the Food and Beverage industry. It also expands Anderson Dahlen's resources to serve customers in the Food, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, and Vacuum Technology markets.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

Primary responsibilities are shipping and receiving making sure that all employees at our company receive deliveries in a timely manner. You also make sure that internal customers receive the items they ordered in a timely manner, without any mistakes in the delivery. In this way, you are important in making sure that everyone gets what they need quickly and efficiently.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Coordinate deliveries to customers and clients daily, including boxing goods, addressing packages, and staying in contact with shipping companies.
• Receive and process material orders daily, including accepting deliveries, labeling, and distributing packages and letters internally.
• Maintain the company stockroom by cleaning, organizing, and labeling items in storage on a regular basis.
• Keep records of goods that have been received and prepare receiving reports for supervisors.
• Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by boxing and lifting items as necessary and operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large items.
• Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and internal customers who are receiving goods.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:

• 6 months to 2 years of previous experience in a warehouse setting fulfilling shipping and receiving duties and responsibilities preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of computer programs and Material Handler equipment.
• Knowledge of spreadsheets or database software such as Microsoft Excel.
• Must be US person or PRC holder due to access to products and technology controlled under the ITAR.
• Experience utilizing an ERP system, such as Made to Manage.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Anderson Dahlen fosters a manufacturing type environment. Moderately heavy work requiring the occasional lifting of objects weighing 50 pounds or less. In the performance of essential duties, the incumbent may be required to operate a variety of industrial machining tools.
