We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks, coordinating projects, and providing support to our Kansas City, KS. distribution team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Perform general office administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, scanning and copying documents and handling correspondence
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory
- Organize and maintain files
- Assist with project coordination and tracking
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Assist leadership with BASIC Human Resource tasks- payroll, I9 documentation, distribution of basic change forms such tax withholdings, change of address, job status and attendance tracking.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
