Hi, my name is Silvina and I am the co-owner and physician assistant at Anderson Longevity Clinic in Winter Park. I am looking for a highly motivated individual who is excited to play an integral part in the clinical and administrative operations of our new clinic that offers concierge precision medicine aimed at optimizing vitality and longevity. Given our reduced patient loads, we can establish stronger relationships with our patients.

The Medical & Office Assistant will be our first hire and will begin as a part-time role, advance to full-time, with opportunity for upward mobility and a broad range of responsibilities. If this is exciting to you, please read on!

Initial responsibilities include:

● Reviewing the day’s schedule and preparing to welcome each patient with a high level of care and positivity.

● Greeting and rooming each patient and updating information as needed in the EMR.

● Safely drawing blood from patients using technical equipment, taking great care to properly collect and label laboratory specimens.

● Optimizing patient satisfaction, provide time, and patient room utilization by carefully scheduling appointments (in-person or via telephone).

● Ensuring medical supplies are appropriately stocked and well-organized.

Required experience and qualification:

● Minimum of 1-year clinical experience as a medical assistant or similar role (e.g., phlebotomist)

● Minimum of 1-year experience as a medical office assistant/receptionist

● Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills

● Strong attention to detail

● Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Detailed venipuncture responsibilities:

● Safely draw blood from patients using technical equipment

● Explain the process of drawing blood clearly to a patient

● Register and store blood in the correct environment, send samples to testing laboratories and keep track of blood samples and returned results after testing

● Update patient records on an ongoing basis

● Maintain an organized and clean work area

● Answer patient questions regarding collection techniques and offer additional resources on the collection process if the patient requests them

● Additional tasks as assigned
