Andrew Wommack Ministries Inc is Hiring a Boiler Operator/Fleet Maintenance Technician Near Woodland, CO
Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on cars, trucks, construction equipment, snow removal equipment, small engine repairs, and off-road equipment in a safe, efficient, quality-minded, and customer-focused manner. Perform maintenance and repair on aerial lift equipment to the manufacturer’s guidelines to maintain the safety and reliability of the equipment.
Essential Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, plumbing, HVAC equipment, and apparatus as needed
- Operate the HVAC and energy management computer systems of the facilities
- Maintain the condition of HVAC and mechanical infrastructure in accordance with safety/code requirements
- Resolve normal technical field problems
- Report inventory of all equipment and supplies
- Make recommendations to Facilities Manager with regard to equipment and materials needed
- Participate in maintaining a safe working environment
- Minor repairs necessary for building operation efficiency
- Work with outside vendors regarding repairs/maintenance of equipment/systems and mechanical infrastructure
- Operate boilers, including reading instruments and gauges to identify problems.
- Maintain logs of activities, tolerances, outputs, and maintenance.
- Complete all preventative and routine maintenance on boilers and related equipment.
- Adjust controls to keep boilers within safety and tolerance limits.
- Perform repair work on vehicles such as breakdowns, malfunctions, and emergency roadside repairs in a safe, efficient, and quality manner.
- Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturers' specifications including engines, transmissions and clutches, suspension and steering, fuel and ignition (gas & diesel), electrical systems, brakes, and HVAC systems.
- Perform final operational tests on vehicles for quality check.
- Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment to maximize the safety, productivity, and life of the unit.
- Perform preventive maintenance such as fluid changes, lubrications, safety inspections, and brake repairs.
- Examine the vehicle to determine if any additional safety or repair work is needed.
- Clean vehicles and equipment inside and out.
- Tire maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned
- Demonstrate excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills among all levels of staff
- Knowledge of engines and controls, brakes & suspensions, hydraulics, electrical systems, etc.
- Knowledge of car/truck/bus/small engine repair
- Work effectively with facilities supervisors of both AWM & Charis buildings
- Perform job tasks effectively despite sudden deadlines and changing priorities
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Provide customer service in a professional considerate manner
- Excellent record of dependability and reliability
- Excellent customer service
- Experience with computer-based operating and energy management systems
- Basic computer skills including the ability to create Microsoft Word documents and excel spreadsheets.
- Physical ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Excellent filing, organizational, and time management skills
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must sign the Statement of Faith
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is required
- College, vocational, apprenticeship, or military training as a boiler operator is preferred
- Charis Bible College graduate is preferred
- CDL Driver’s License preferred, but not necessary
- Must pass all required checks including an MVR check
- One to three years of experience as a boiler operator is preferred
- Three or more years of fleet maintenance repairs and maintenance
- Compensation commensurate with experience.
