We are looking for an experienced tax advisor to assist with preparation and review of individual and business tax returns. Our professionals strive to exceed our clients’ expectations through timely and quality service using current technology and innovative solutions. Currently, we are working in a hybrid remote and in-person environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental principles of tax laws for businesses and individuals.
• Effectively applies tax knowledge to individual returns and business returns.
• Exhibits a desire to understand business transactions and related issues.
• Utilizes research tools to research topics and provide support for various tax topics.
• Prepares and reviews individual and business tax returns on a timely and efficient basis.
• Prepares completed and organized tax files including appropriate supporting documentation for tax returns.
• Prepares clear and concise work papers with definitive conclusions.
• Prepares meaningful and well-written recommendations for inclusion in client correspondence.
• Demonstrates technical proficiency in a paperless environment.
• Exhibits effective communication and listening skills.
• Actively participates in professional and community organizations.
• Proactively “champions” an attitude of quality service.
• Organizes work schedule in a manner that ensures timely and priority-sensitive services to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting, tax specialization preferred.
• CPA certification.
• At least four years of tax experience in public accounting.
