Staff Accountant

Job Description

Emerging accounting professionals at AHP engage in challenging work for a variety of niches in order to uncover their passion for specific industry and service areas. Staff collaborate with team members to serve our clients in accordance with our VIEW philosophy, receive educational trainings, hands-on learning, and opportunities to grow. Currently, we are working in a hybrid remote and in-person environment.

Responsibilities

• Able to utilize various technologies used in engagement management and perform well in a paperless environment.
• Effectively communicates while being a good listener.
• Problem-solver that can help identify issues and apply accounting and/or tax principles and auditing procedures in a timely and efficient way.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Depending on assignments, travel is a requirement when the circumstances are safe for our team members to travel to client sites.
