Assistant Controller

We are looking for an exceptional Assistant Controller to help Anduril prepare for a future potential IPO and support an entire ERP migration. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage accounting operations for areas including general ledger, accruals, payroll/equity accounting and intercompany, including detailed analysis and reconciliation of all general ledger accounts, while ensuring compliance with US GAAP, local accounting requirements and internal policies
• Liaise with and/or directly manage other functional areas including revenue, tax and treasury depending on the candidate profile, etc.
• Own and drive coordination of the monthly global financial close process across multiple teams including optimizing to a fast and efficient close that can withstand the hypergrowth of the business
• Manage all activities associated with internal/external reporting
• Provide team leadership through managing talent including motivating, coaching, training and mentoring team members.
• Assist with Anduril’s possible preparation for a future IPO and/or ERP implementation
• Manage the external audit process with PwC
• Develop, manage and own executive level goals each year including close optimization, working capital management, etc.
• Develop effective working relationships with cross-functional business partners including FP&A, Legal, Gov’t Accounting, Cost Accounting, AP, Manufacturing, and Operation

WHO YOU ARE

• 10 years of progressive accounting experience with prior experience as as an Assistant Controller or Controller
• Healthy mix of technical accounting and operational accounting preferred
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high growth organization
• Prior experience in companies that are tech or advanced manufacturing
• CPA and/or MBA
• Able to get hands dirty to drive organizational change will also maintaining an ability to manage up against strategic priorities/reporting
• US Persons Status is required
