We are looking for a credentialing specialist that is looking to expand their skill set. At Anesu Restorative Care, we are a Nurse Practitioner owned medical office that is looking for the right candidate to help expand our services. We are a medical practice that uses non-narcotic, non-surgical means to improve neuropathy and general pain problems. We strive to help every patient that comes into our office, and that goal requires your dedication and skills to make that happen. 

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Certificate and/or Advanced Specialized or Technical Training in Medical Staff Services or Associate Degree
  • One (1) year of credentialing or provider enrollment experiencProficient in the use of multiple computer software programs
  • Ability to prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment; meet ongoing schedules and deadlines, detailed oriented, organized, utilizes good judgement, and ability to multi task and work independently

Responsibilities

  • Provides general administrative and clerical tasks within the department and provides backup administrative support, if needed; maintains critical and confidential credentialing, privileging, provider enrollment and peer review information
  • Recognize and maturely handle a variety of situations, often of a confidential or urgent nature
  • Administrative Support - Assist with front desk responsibilities as outlined by your facilities manager
  • Provider Enrollment - Follow processes for PECOS, CAQH, Medicaid, and NPPES processes
  • Application Processing - Follow application processes, e.g. primary source verification, audit application for completeness, notify practitioner of any incomplete or outstanding documents, self file audits when application is completed
  • Data Entry - Uploading documents, linking documents, etc. 
  • Precertifications - Assist with pre-certifications as needed
  • Preauthorizations - Assist with patient preauthorizations

Position Summary

This general medical office administrative position provides backup administrative support, if needed; maintains critical and confidential credentialing, privileging, provider enrollment and peer review information; communicates well with leadership and performs all assigned administrative duties. 

Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Application Processing - Follow application processes, e.g. primary source verification, audit application for completeness, notify practitioner of any incomplete or outstanding documents, self file audits when applications are completed.
2. Provider Enrollment - Follow processes for PECOS, CAQH, Medicaid, and NPPES processes.

3. Administrative Support - Help perform office administrative duties
4. Customer Service - Help with new patient appointments. 
5. Data Entry - Uploading patient documents in EMR. 
6. Secondary office duties will be performed as determined by the office manager

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

High School Graduate or Equivalent

Preferred:

Certificate and/or Advanced Specialized or Technical Training in Medical Staff Services or Associate Degree

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

Required:

One (1) year of credentialing or provider enrollment experience

Preferred:

Two (2) years or more of credentialing or provider enrollment experience.

License, Registry or Certification :

Required:

None

Preferred:

Certification by NAMSS as a Certified Provider Credentials Specialist (CPCS) or the ability to become certified within the time periods established by NAMSS from date of hire.

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities :

Required:

Ability to prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment; meet ongoing schedules and deadlines, detailed oriented, organized, good judgment, self motivated, ability to multi task and work independently. Proficient in the use of multiple computer software programs
