General Job Summary: The Medical Services Nurse’s primary role is to support the PMH-NP and F-NP medication prescribers (prescribers) by supporting the mission, policies and protocols of Anew Behavioral Health (ABH). The Medical Services Nurse will work collaboratively to ensure the consistent flow of essential, time-sensitive information to the prescribers, communicate effectively with Director, Medical Director and prescribers, collaborate with referral sources and external clinical vendors, and provide education and assistance to clients, maintaining compliance with ABH protocols and policies. Responsibilities include:

New client nursing intake

Returning client consultation/care coordination Obtain, review and document all information required to assist providers in the informed delivery of care to behavioral health and SUD clients. Close collaboration within department, all agency service lines, referral sources and clinical vendors. Information includes, but is not limited to: Laboratory OARRS/Prescribing Client Compliance Client Services Agency and Provider Referrals/Clinical Vendors/External/Internal Collaboration

Qualifications: RN or LPN with unrestricted Ohio nursing license A minimum of 2 years nursing experience; preference given to candidates with outpatient mental/behavioral health experience or psychiatry experience.
