Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), Full-time/Part-time
Anew Healthcare and Rehabilitation is a reputable healthcare company dedicated to providing exceptional rehabilitation services to our residents. We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team on either a full-time or part-time basis.
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with Anew Healthcare and Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in assisting Occupational Therapists in delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services to our residents. Your responsibilities will include implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting therapeutic activities, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote residents' independence and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in assessing residents' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
- Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans, focusing on activities of daily living.
- Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises to enhance residents' functional abilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate occupational therapy into overall resident care plans.
- Monitor and document residents' progress, reporting findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Educate residents and their families on adaptive techniques and home exercises.

COTA Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- State licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is preferred but not required.
