Legends Restaurant is seeking a skilled and experienced bartender to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers. The bartender will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, managing inventory, and ensuring that all customers are satisfied with their drinks and overall experience.
Base Pay: $12 Hourly plus tips
Location: Legends Restaurant in the Resort Hotel (may be asked to take shifts in other venues)

Required Certs or Licenses: Must have prior to first day of work-Food Handler Cert(www.nmfoodhandlers.com), NM Alcohol Servers License (www.waytoserve.org)
Leadership Responsibilities: No
Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, flexible, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays
Environment: This is an indoor position which includes working in a busy restaurant. Must be able to stand for entire shift occasionally carrying 50lbs

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Ensure that all customers are satisfied with their drinks and overall experience
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
• Upsell drinks and food items to customers
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with other restaurant staff to provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
