Starting Wage: $26.00/hr.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures facility meets all set quality standards.
  • Responsible for basic maintenance and repair of HVAC and electrical appliances, systems, facilities and related electronic controls of varying design or complexity
  • Basic installation, maintenance of circuit breakers, transformers, light fixtures, or other components, including automatic machine and process controls, control centers and panels, relays, circuit breakers, electronic controls, tape actuated controls and other equipment involving tube or transistor circuits.
  • Uses test equipment, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to check the circuits for proper connections, ensuring electrical compatibility and safety of components.
  • Performs a variety of plumbing maintenance, carpentry and painting functions.
  • Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and materials handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Delivers and picks up parts, equipment and supplies from storage and vendors.
  • Operates company vehicles in a safe manner.
  • Complies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas.
  • Use safety glasses and equipment as required by safety regulations.
  • Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed.
  • Works nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional guest services skills required.
  • One year certification from college or technical school, plus three to five years broad maintenance experience with a combination of carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall andpainting.
  • Must have at least two years direct experience specializing in electrical and HVAC installation, repair and maintenance.
  • Must be able to use advanced trades mathematics together with complicated drawings and specifications involving thorough technical skill knowledge and application of basic theory
  • Must be capable of building and wiring new offices.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate basic maintenance tools and power tools such as: electric saws, drills, sanders, and others.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of MSDS, OSHA requirements, and biohazard clean up and disposal.
  • Certified Forklift Operator desired.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to be insured to drive company or customer vehicles by the company insurance carrier.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Angel of the Winds’ Certified Forklift Operator’s License (ANSI Standards WAC 296-863 and OROSHA 1910.179) for Class I and Class IV forklifts.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. This position requires being outside in different weather conditions for some of the shifts. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
