Responsibilities

  • Greet every employee, vendor and visitor upon arrival and offer a departing remark as they leave.
  • Must actively encourage and maintain a positive work environment to promote our Core Values. 
  • Observe and monitor employee and vendor behavior, reporting any suspicious activity. 
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times. 
  • Monitor and relay information regarding alarms and systems in work area. 
  • Maintain a positive and professional image for the casino at all times when performing duties or representing the casino and encourage others to do the same.
  • Check in and out all Vendors and Temporary Vendors. Notify appropriate Department of their arrival.
  • Issue and log Temporary Badges to Team Members when necessary. 
  • Conduct bag checks of everyone entering and exiting employee entrance to look for suspicious or hazardous objects. 
  • Assist in activating employee and vendor badges. 
  • Issue activated badges to team members. 
  • When face coverings are required, responsible to make sure all team members come onto shift with proper facial covering.
  • When required, take temperature of all team members, visitors and vendors entering the building each day.
  • Maintain clean work area
  • Work nights, weekends, special events and holidays as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional guest service skills required.
  • Must be customer service oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment dealing with sensitive issues and maintain confidentially with strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand for an entire shift. When required, this position will be outside for the entire shift and will be exposed to the outside weather. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
