Job Title: Claims and Compliance Specialist

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Company Overview:

Angell Transport LLC is a dedicated Amazon Logistics Partner in the DFW market. We operate CDL Tractors, Box Trucks, and Delivery Vans across the DFW metroplex. We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Claims and Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of claims management, insurance policies and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Schedule & Benefits:

• Full-Time, Monday – Friday schedule (typically 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm)
• $52,000 - $60,000 salary range

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end claims process, including intake, gathering of evidence/documentation, conveyance of settlement offers, and resolution.
• Review and analyze claims data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as legal, finance, and operations teams, to ensure timely and accurate claims processing.
• Stay current on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize claims efficiency and accuracy.
• Train and educate staff on claims processes and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to claims management and compliance.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in claims management and compliance.
• Ensure brokers are notified when vehicles are added or removed from the fleet, and something about obtaining COIs and ID cards when needed/requested.
• Review/track bills & payments for employee medical treatment from medical providers.
• Manage the insurance renewal process with industry carriers & ensure any policy requirements are met throughout the policy period.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Insurance, Legal Studies).
• Adjusters License Preferred
• Proven experience in claims management, preferably in the transportation industry.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
