Purpose;

Angle Auto Finance is an independent financier in Australia, bringing a modern platform and a flexible business approach to help more Australians with their car purchase.

The Application DevOps Specialist provides technical and functional support to the business in relation to system enhancement / development, BAU support, maintenance, configuration, release / patching, incident / problem / change management with the ITIL Framework to ensure Ambit Asset Finance systems operate and perform at optimal levels and in accordance to agreed SLAs.

Key Acountabilities & Responsibilities;

Core responsibilities

• Proactively build relationships with executives, heads of business, managers, peers, strategic vendors and more
• Drive Continuous Improvement, promote best practice, build strong business partnership, and facilitate timely communication
• System support, maintenance, configuration, release and patching
• System enhancement and development
• Incident, problem and change management
• Provide guidance in environment management
• Produce support document and contribute to knowledgebase
• Create and/or contribute to technology recovery plans that meet continuity objectives and are able to respond in the event of disaster and minimise business disruption
• Work closely with the Risk & Compliance team to safeguard business services by identifying potential weakness, single points of failure and operational risks that may result in interruptions to critical business services
• Develop and/or propose risk mitigation plans and procedures to protect business operations
• Oversee and contribute to effective capacity management across all critical Technology services to ensure right-sizing technology systems to meet current and future needs

Qualifications

• IT engineering degree or similar
• ITIL V3 or ITIL 4 Foundation Certification
• Development experience with SQL Server, C#, Azure DevOps, Integration/API
• Hands-on experience with Asset/Auto Finance system
• Knowledge of FIS Ambit Asset Finance system is desirable

Experience

• 5 years’ experience in Application DevOps in financial services or other industry
• Advanced knowledge and experience in ITIL processes specifically Incidents, Problems and Change
• Experienced in managing major incidents, trouble shooting, root cause analysis and working under pressure. Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Proven track record of continual service improvement, achieving service agreements and with a risk mindset (including policy, standards and processes)
• An understanding and deep empathy for working with a broad range of business stakeholders and staff, specifically to understand their challenges and deliver business outcomes
• Knowledge of technologies (including new and emerging)
• Ability to influence business outcomes through first class written and verbal skills
• Worked in an ITIL operating model and describe the value this create for customers
• Strong stakeholder management
• Be flexible and be part of on-call/after-hour/shift-work roster as required
