Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor maintenance and landscaping, with experience in tree care, lawn care, and garden upkeep.

Responsibilities:

- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Care for trees including pruning, trimming, and removal when necessary
- Maintain gardens by planting, weeding, and watering as needed
- Operate bucket trucks for tasks requiring height access
- Assist in landscape rig setup and operation
- Monitor plant growth and assist in growing activities
- Utilize GIS technology for mapping and planning grounds maintenance activities

Experience:

- Previous experience in garden maintenance, tree care, and landscape upkeep
- Familiarity with bucket truck operation for tree care and other tasks
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and equipment
- Experience in operating landscape rigs for various maintenance activities
- Understanding of plant growth cycles and basic horticultural practices
- Proficiency in GIS software for mapping and planning purposes
