Responsibilities:
- Food production and plating for all restaurant functions
- Preparing food including weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to recipes
- Handling supplies and assisting with preps and pars
- Checking food and ingredients for freshness
- Maintaining temperatures (hot and cold) and equipment throughout the shift
- Training and working each station until signed off by Kitchen Manager or Assistant Kitchen Managers
- Cooking during busy times for lunch and dinner
- May need to assist with opening and closing duties
- Ensuring that the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized daily
Requirements:
- Must be mentally alert, detail-oriented with good reasoning skills
- Knowledge of service standards
- Strong organization and active listening skills
- Team player and ability to take orders from managers and leaders efficiently
- Ability to stand and walk for 4-10 hours
- Be able to kneel, stoop, bend, push, shove, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Proactively complete tasks
- Cross-train between food stations
- Wear company-provided uniform
- Perform other duties as assigned
