Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals.
- Analyze, model, and validate data from various sources and platforms.
- Identify issues, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in the data pipelines and processes.
- Provide solutions and recommendations to developers to implement the changes and enhancements.
- Create clear and concise documentation, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations.
- Present the findings and deliverables to the clients and stakeholders in a professional and engaging manner.
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, statistics, or related field.
- 3 years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or BI analyst in a client-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, data modeling, data quality, and data governance principles and practices.
- Proficient in SQL and at least one BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker.
- Ability to understand complex data pipelines and identify issues, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Master's degree or certification in business analytics, data science, or a related field.
- Experience in working with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS & Azure.
- Experience in working with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Experience in working with scripting languages such as Python, R, or SAS.
- Experience in working with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to understand client's business needs and challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
- Critical thinking and attention to detail skills to ensure data accuracy, validity, and reliability.
- Creativity and innovation skills to explore new ways of analyzing data and presenting insights.
- Collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively with developers, project managers, and other analysts.
- Learning and adaptability skills to keep up with the latest trends and developments in the BI field.
