Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and data warehousing needs.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
- Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Create and manage SSIS packages for data integration, migration, and transformation tasks.
- Perform data quality checks and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
- Monitor ETL processes and troubleshoot issues as they arise, providing timely resolutions.
- Document ETL processes, including data flow diagrams, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in ETL development and SQL Server administration.
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in SQL Server Administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Backend SQL development.
- Extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Familiarity with ETL best practices and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload effectively.
- Experience with other ETL tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
- Experience with cloud-based data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS).
- Certifications in SQL Server or related technologies.
