Anika Systems is Hiring a Cloud Automation Engineer Intern Near Leesburg, VA
The Cloud Automation Engineering Intern will work with the technical team to research and develop Cloud-based applications and automation solutions for Anika Systems. You will utilize a variety of automation techniques including scripting, low-code/no-code technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
You will gain an understanding and learn how to apply:
- Foundational knowledge of cloud services, how to provision and configure Cloud services leveraging automation
- Multi Cloud infrastructure design and management (Azure, AWS)
- Build automation software and prototypes using an appropriate mix of programming and scripting languages (Node.js, Python, .Net, Java, etc.)
- DevOps tools with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) techniques to automatically build and maintain Cloud infrastructure to enable higher level applications, data, and Machine Learning (ML) solutions
- DevOps practices to automation perform data operations (DataOps) and Machine Learning model training and deployment (MLOps)
- Deploy ML models into various environments and integrate them into our solutions
- Cloud-native monitoring tools to analyze behavior of the system with regards to load and failure condition to predict and prevent failures
- Explore No-Code, Low-Code, and Code-First technologies and tools
- Document work and help teams in proposal writing and technical writing
- Develop and deliver quality code, on time, for the work assigned
- At least one year of college coursework
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program in a technical field, or a Cloud Engineer Associate’s program
- Experience with at least one programming or scripting language
- Strong technical aptitude and desire for continuous learning
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Organized and self-motivated
- Experience with Application Development, Cloud services, DevOps and or Cyber Security is big plus
