Podiatry office in the South Charlotte (Ballantyne) area is looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented and organized front office coordinator that is willing to welcome every patient with a smile.
Applicants should have a pleasant, professional personality and appearance. We are looking for a team player with exceptional phone and typing skills that is proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Being able to multi-task is essential.
Job duties will include:
- Checking patients in and out
- Answering phones and returning voicemails in a timely manner
- Scheduling appointments
- Verifying insurance
- Entering patient demographics and medical history
- Responding to incoming faxes and emails quickly
- Other necessary duties for a small, but busy office
Qualifications
- Medical administrative support and office experience
- Proficiency in medical terminology and records management
- Strong computer skills, including experience with EMR systems
- Excellent patient service and front desk management abilities
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical coding
- Previous experience in a medical office setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
