Position OverviewWe are seeking a talented and motivated intern/freelance Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team in New York City. The ideal candidate will be a creative individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves updating and creating PowerPoint presentations, InDesign files, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Word documents, as well as utilizing Canva for various design projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to update and enhance PowerPoint presentations, ensuring they are visually appealing and on-brand.
- Update InDesign files with current content, maintaining consistency and high design standards.
- Revise and format biography pages in Word, adhering to company templates and guidelines.
- Use Canva to create and modify graphics, social media content, and other marketing materials.
- Work closely with team members to brainstorm and execute design ideas.
- Ensure all design work aligns with Ankura’s brand identity and guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Currently pursuing, or recently completing a bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience with Canva and other online design tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and layout.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Based in New York City and available for on-site meetings as needed.
- Basic video editing skills are welcomed.
