About us:

We have a dedicated team of licensed occupational therapists, lymphatic therapists, massage therapists, physical therapists, support staff and practice management who collaborate to bring comprehensive care to those that need it most.

Duties:

• Perform initial exams and re-exams (medical history, focused physical exam, review pertinent imaging/documents/reports)
• Take and review Diagnostic imaging/X-rays
• Evaluate findings and determine diagnosis
• Develop appropriate treatment care plans
• Evaluate and Manage treatment for both post surgical and non healing wounds, with a strong emphasis on diabetic ulcers, venous insufficiency ulcers, and lymphatic lesions. Understanding of and desire to further education of wound vacs, skin substitutes and various allografts.
• Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment plan options, pre and post treatment care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Documentation and Charting (timely and accurate notes) in EclinicalWorks database in accordance with Medicare documentation guidelines.
• Writing referral and work release notes
• Patient follow up to ensure treatment goals are being met- regular reassessments

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited NP/DNP program training
• Certification in CLWT or WOCN or like program, preferred
• Active license in Alaska
• Experience with EClinicalWorks EMR system software a bonus

Schedule:

• Starts at 2-3 days per week, but will become full time
• No weekends

Salary (range):

• $75 hourly base, depending on experience
