Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The LCSW will provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments, treatment, and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups. The ideal candidate will be skilled in coordinating referrals, conducting assessments, implementing treatment plans, and providing consultations. This role requires an individual who is empathetic, resourceful, and committed to improving the well-being of patients and their families.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Degree: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW).

· Education: Graduate from a School of Social Work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

· Experience: Sufficient experience to meet clinical competency requirements as specified in the service-specific credentialing instructions.

· Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Core Duties:

1. Referral Coordination:

o Coordinate appropriate referrals to community and other Government agencies for services.

2. Psychosocial Assessments and Treatment Planning:

o Independently assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their family members.

o Formulate and implement a treatment plan in collaboration with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary treatment team.

o Identify patient’s problems, strengths, weaknesses, coping skills, and assistance needed.

3. Diverse Clientele Management:

o Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide treatment to individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, educational, and diverse backgrounds.

4. Medical and Mental Health Proficiency:

o Utilize knowledge of medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities, treatment procedures, common medications and their effects/side effects, and medical terminology.

5. Treatment Modalities Implementation:

o Implement treatment modalities for individuals, families, and groups experiencing psychiatric, medical, and social problems to achieve treatment goals.

6. Counseling and Psychotherapy Services:

o Independently provide counseling and/or psychotherapy services to individuals, groups, couples, and families within the bounds of the license or certification.

7. Consultation Services:

o Provide consultation services to other staff regarding the psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of psychosocial problems on healthcare and compliance with treatment.

8. Professional Development and Peer Review:

o Participate in professional peer review case conferences, research studies, or other organizational requirements at the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
