The ideal candidate is a hands-on property management professional for single-family/multi-family affordable housing, based in the Detroit Metro Area. Highly motivated and responsible problem solver, with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

Perform and/or assist in day-to-day property management operations, including but not limited to:

· Coordinate and attend property showings 

· Assist potential tenants in application completion process

· Responsible for the tenant screening, background checks and selection process

· Sign leases and coordinate move-ins directly with selected tenants

· Coordinate tenant move-outs

· Section 8 tenant placement 

· Collections

· Manage day-to-day tenant relations

· Assist with utilities management

· Assist with City compliance certifications

Qualifications:

· 1 year of relevant experience in residential property management in Detroit (tenant management, leasing, Section 8)

· College degree is highly valued

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks

· Detail-oriented
