About the role:
Join Cal State LA as the Assistant Controller for Auxiliary Services, where you'll play a pivotal role in the university's fiscal management alongside its Auxiliary Organizations. As a hands-on leader, you'll oversee a dedicated team responsible for accounting, financial reporting, audits, and tax matters. Collaborating closely with the Controller and campus departments, you'll ensure timely reporting and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards. Your impact extends beyond financial management, actively supporting the university's mission and partnering with campus business units to drive day-to-day operations. Additionally, you'll engage in system-wide and higher education initiatives, contributing to the continual improvement of our institution's internal capacity.
The anticipated yearly salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 based on experience.
This is a state-funded position with a focus on supporting auxiliaries.
