As our growth has continued, we are looking to hire an Industrial Painter/Finisher who understands that we must maintain the highest level of quality and standards for the products that we create and send out around the world.

Job Title: Industrial Painter/Finisher

Summary:

As the Industrial Painter/Finisher you will be responsible to paint/spray a variety of parts to close tolerances and specifications using various types of paint. You will also be responsible to perform the job in a manner to minimize hazards to yourself, co-workers, others and the environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtain paint specified for the job from inventory.
• Intermittently stand, walk, bend, stoop and crouch.
• Clean and prepare surfaces.
• Prep work on parts including sanding, cleaning and masking.
• Prepare primers and paints.
• Spray paint parts to customer and industry specifications.
• Stencil parts using an air brush.
• Inspect parts for compliance with specifications.
• Ability to read drawings/work instructions and adhere to job travelers.
• Maintain equipment such as spray guns, spray booth, etc.
• Pour surplus paint into waste barrel for collection as hazardous waste.
• Work safely, following all procedures and use proper safety equipment and PPE.

Required Education/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years industrial spray painting or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in wet painting.
• Respirator trained.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with others.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• Able to move/ transport 40 lbs. unassisted.
• Eye/hand coordination and finger dexterity.
• Exposure to hazard chemicals and paint
• Able to stand/walk/stoop for extended periods of time.
