AnthroMed Education is Hiring a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Near Lansing, IL

Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist: 2024-2025 School YearAnthroMed Education is expanding our team of Speech-Language Pathologists who support our students throughout the state of Illinois, and we want you to be a part of our team!

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Lansing, IL. This position involves working with a caseload of approximately 22 students with mild to moderate disabilities. The school is looking for an SLP who will work for around 14-16 hours per week but will be given the flexibility to make their schedule. The primary grade levels are 1st-3rd grade, with the potential to see 4th-grade students as well.

Compensation: Full Salary paid weekly (52-week salary!) $55,000 - $70,000 based on experience (prorated for part-time hours)
Location: Lansing, IL
Hours: 14-16 hours/week, flexible schedule within the standard hours of 8:00am-3:30pm

Speech-Language Pathologist Duties:
  • Complete evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth
  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students
  • Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and classroom teachers to meet the students’ speech and/or language needs
  • Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
  • Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders
Speech-Language Pathologist Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Communication Disorders
  • IDFPR license eligible in the state of Illinois
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
  • Preferred experience in a K-12 setting
